The race of perfection never ends. We at Gyan Vihar learn management not only technologies but thought that go on to became beliefs of tomorrow. X-Animo is Gyan Vihar earnest endeavour to showcase the fabric of talent adorned with the tapestry of spirit among the students through a wide range of innovative and fun filled activities.
The main objective of bring out this carnival is to provide a platform through which students share their aspirations, emotional, talents and inventive capabilities.
A Time of enjoyment, revelling appreciation of privilege, freedom, and comfort given to student’s sense of celebration, the feeling of hope that everything is with the world. A feeling that we will make the world a better place then we found it.
These words precisely define the spirit of X-animo-2010. Gyan Vihar’s annual cultural fest from barebones modest beginning in 2010 to being one of the most awaited courage festivals in Rajasthan. X-Amino has come a long way. X-amino 2010 has stood for a celebration whole everyone felt involved. Needless to state we strive to maintain the highest standards in every event-right from judges. To organization, participation to entertainment. It was performed on 28th, 29th & 30th March, 2010. It is precisely for these reason that X-animo-2010 attracted students from the colleges through-out India, and especially Jaipur. Not only have this cultural events seen participation of ROCK Bands like BLAND, ZONKED & Many More from all over India.
The three day glittering and exciting annual function named X-ANIMO rejunvated the surroundings and gathering of the Suresh Gyan Vihar University. It started with the invocation of god, which was followed by the welcome of the chief guest chancellor of SGVU Shri Sunil Sharma, and greeting the guest of honour Dr. Sudhanshu, Chief Mentor SGVU. The three day event X-animo-2010 filled in the spirit of healthy competition, co-operation, and event management.
Great preparations were made for it several days before the fixed date. The open air theatre, open ground, cafeteria, gymnasium, green rooms, conference hall, were all the time buzzing with the rehearsals and practical activities of the participating students. Amongst several committees the members of the audition committee were activity involved with the rehearsals to showcase the talent of the students in the best way.
To show case the talent and to provide platform to the talented students the three days were planned in an organised manner. The first day had a flair of activities like Rajasthan folk dances ,mono acting, group dance, solo dance ,stand up comedy, shayri, skits, and these humour filled activities were not only appreciated but also made the appreciated but also made the spectators full of frowns on their stomach. Folk dances of Rajasthan were the centre point of the first day. Various artists of kala mandal Rajasthan were invited to perform to show their performance.
Folk dances like Ghoomar, Kucchi ghodi, etc were performed by the groups. Free dancing full of zest, with rows of dancers, colourful pennants make the evening full of fun and smile.
The second day begun with the vibrant colours of singing where the students of the university were carried away by the melodies of the participating singers. Dances both solo and group performance made the evening remarkable. One majestic sound system and the beautiful backdrop added the exponential charm to the effects in the fashion show.
Third Day prizes were awarded to the students who secured top positions in the final examinations. The students who presented the university and brought levels in various events, competitions, seminars, sports and other academic activities’ were felicitated by the chancellor. The students who contributed towards intra department activities, various committees of the department were also awarded specially. The student who had maximum attendance. We endeavoured to more the X-AMINO- 2010 the best ever seen. It contained events Like ROCKERS & ROLERS: A Solo Dance competition & Group dance as well, RHYTHAM DIVINE: A singing competition, FEAST OF THE EVE: A fashion show with rocking performance of RAJDEEP CHATTERGI in celebrity night.
Apart from these events those were many more which were enjoyed by students very much like Rain Dance, Takashi, and Castle & Foot Loose. The Chancellor Mr. Sunil Sharma appreciated the student’s participation and involvement and asked them to perform equally in all the spheres of education.

Department of Electronics & Communication has organized 2 days workshop on “VLSE and FGPA” on dated 31st March, 2010 & 01st April, 2010. this workshop was organized by APPIN Technologies which was introduce to the department by Mr. Dinesh Goyal.The Convener was Mr. R .P. Gupta(HOD,EC) and organizing secretary was Mr. Promad Sharma (EC). Chief Guest of this event was Shri Vipin Chand Sharma, Principal Secretary of Technical Education, Rajasthan. Guest of Honour Prof. Md.Saleem, reader deptt. ECE, MNIT, Jaipur and Key Note Speaker were Mr. Hitendra Gupta, Reader Deptt of ECE, LNMIIT, Jaipur.
The 52 out side participates from the various colleges/universities were invited for the workshop.
On first Day topics of VLSI and some part of FGPA was covered, which was upto the knowledge. Many students were present on that day.

- Modelsim
- RTM Coding using VERILOG for synthesis.

On second day all participants were provide a soft copy (CD) of the topics covered & course material during the workshop. As per the feedback taken by the HOD ECE from the sincere students of PG and UG studies, the workshop was by and large quite informative and the experts delivered the lectures in a simple manner so that even a large number of student was able to understand.

“GLOBAL CUISINES CAPTURE THE ATTENTION AND APPETITE OF EVERY GENERATION” was the theme of Food Glamour -2010 with Tadka of modern and classical cultural items exhibited by our young, energetic students of Gyan Vihar School of Hotel Management. Food Glamour-2010 was organized in lush green “Sports Ground” of Suresh Gyan Vihar University on 19th February, 2010. This mega event was inaugurated and declared open for public and students of university by our revered Chancellor Mr. Sunil Sharma along with Guest of Honour, Dr. Sudhanshu and other dignitaries of university as well as reputed hotels. Food Glamour, as the name suggests displayed various delectable dishes of different cuisines i.e. continental, Chinese, Italian and Indian cuisine with Tandoor dishes sold at minimum rates. The ambience of the whole ground was decked by well organized Food Stalls in blue and white colour scheme spreading coolness and peace in the environment.
Main attraction of the Food Stalls was “SUGAR CRAFT” displayed by Hotel Management Students in the form of “TAJ MAHAL” having light fitted inside emphasizing the delicate intricacies of good craftsmanship. The various displays of Bread in the form of Ship, Baskets were appreciated by our guests.The Food items like Tandoor Tikkas Veg & Non-Veg., Laccha Paranthas, Paneer Dilkhush, Mexican Nachoz with Tomato Salsa, Indian desserts like Pumpkin/Beetroot Halwa. Bakery items i.e. Hot Dogs, Burgers, Fruit Cake, Patties etc. were also sold like hot cakes.The excitement does not stop here. Our students had also set 40 cover “OPEN AIR RESTAURANT” repeating Blue & White Color in Furnishings adding to the comfort of Guests occupying the Restaurant. The delicacies from Food stalls were served by the students dressed in Blue and White (Cowboy dress code) in courteous and technical manner.
The guests enjoyed food admiring cultural programme (Dances, Songs and Fashion Show) by our students displayed on huge Stage.The Students also tried to co-relate their knowledge gained in “Nutrition and Hygiene” by displaying approximate calculation of “Calories” of various dishes prepared by them.
In order to give good practice to our students and giving opening to other Hotel Management Colleges of India, we had organized 2 days pre-activities of Food Glamour-2010 i.e. Inter IHMs Chef Competition, Mocktail Competition & Abstract Flower Arrangement Competition. In above competitions none other college but our Gyan Vihar School of Hotel Management won the “Trophy for Excellence” in all competitions Judged by eminent Chefs and Executives of Food and Beverage and Housekeeping department of eminent Luxury Hotels. This motivation gained by our students enhanced our students Confidence and Will to non-stop mastering of skills in all chores which make any Hotel acceptable to all levels of Society. Food Glamour, a mega event of Gyan Vihar School of Hotel Management is organized every year in the month of February. The success of this event solely depends on hard work put in by our experienced faculty and dear students. Excitement and Enjoyable experience will never stop at “Food Glamour” COME ENJOY AND EXPERIENCE IN MONTH OF FEBRUARY EVERY YEAR.
A word for our prospective students – Students having aptitude in CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION WITH GOOD COMMUNICATION AND FLUENCY IN ENGLISH having motto of “Hard Work” will succeed in this four year Hotel Management Course and rise to the peak in Hotel Industry.

The Management Festival
To discover new paradigms beyond conventional precincts, to begin a day that promises to burst at the seams, remarkably with more vigor and fun, ending in an energy so high that cannot be run down. Students of International School of Business Management, Suresh Gyan Vihar University is organizing the management festival “Exuberance- 2009” “Exuberance” means “lively, high spirited,” and “abounding, lavish, effusive. “ It is the outward manifestation of an inner passion for life, and living.
“Exuberance” brings together students from various B-schools and gives them an opportunity to give flight to their imagination and stand out of the crowd. It helps in imbibing healthy competitive students and helps to rejuvenate their spirits by moving out of the cocoon of mundane activities. It also aims at bringing out the creative best in the managers of the future exuberance includes activities like Business plan, Case studies, Business quiz, Elocution, Leadership face off .
The pursuance of Management programme is the most significant and memorable phase of any management student in his/her career. Therefore the exuberance- 2009 imprint on psyche of management students would be life time image.
Aayam- Techfest
Aayam, the name means ‘varius aspects’
It is the Annual Tech Fest of the University scheduled in the month of October. It creates a platform and gives opportunity to the upcoming technocrats, to realize their potential & to share their vision and expertise. The aim is to provide students a chance to exhibit their skills and talents and compete with each others for improvement. Apart from this the students also learn to express themselves coordinate & organize. Students are encouraged to improve their technical know how and communication skills. It also serves to inculcate the spirit of innovative thinking.
Aayam comprises of events viz - srijan, shodh, Tapash, Samvaad, Daksh, Manthan which includes poster presentation, paper presentation, C-programming, Group discussion, Quiz competition and hardware and software competition.
To inculcates values of intellectual excellence and holistic progress of the students and to train them to face the up coming challenges as they stride out in the world. Gyan Vihar University is conducting its enlightening carnival Aayam 2009 on 29th & 30th Oct, 2009.
The tech best will be inaugurated by esteemed Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor of Suresh Gyan Vihar University. The occasion will also be graced by the presence of Pro-Vice-Chancellor, all Deans and Principals.
The closing ceremony will be chaired by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, who will give the prizes to the winners alongwith certificates on 30th Oct 2009.
Inauguration of New state-of-art Internet Lab
A new most sophisticated and State-of art computer block of more than 250 computers was inaugurated on 10/10/09 by Shri Ganga Sahai (MLA) Rajasthan Assembly. The guest of honour was Congress Spokesman Shri R.R.Tiwari accompanied Special Invitie Sh Shashi Kapoor. The chief guest for the function was Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Sunil Sharma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Sudhanshu, Hon’ble Pro-Vice- Chancellor Maj Gen. B.K. Verma of the University graced the function with their benign presence
The exceptionally classy lab is designed in an elegant style to meet the latest challenges of IT World is at par with international standards which will facilitate the students of SGVU.
Launch of CGCR
Gyan Vihar will be soon launching it’s Centre for Global Warming & Climate Change Research at Mahal Jagatpura Campus, Jaipur. The centre will be unique & one of it’s kind. It will work on various aspects of climate change.
THE CONVOCATION CEREMONY

CONVOCATION is the occasion for which every student & teacher waits throughout their life. This is not an end of student or teachers relations but this is a new beginning for both. This is a Bridge between a student’s life & real world. Every student has to pass through this bridge named CONVOCATION before they come in contact of the real world. In another words, the word Convocation is a beginning of Exam for a teacher where they are dependent on their student & have to trust on them.
This is a tough exam for students also where they have to imply the thoughts, teaching & knowledge that has been given by their teachers to survive & to reach at the desired designation of the world so that their teacher & Institute as well as whole world feel proud to have them and in this chain the responsibility of an Institution is greater than both teacher and student as it is the duty of an institution that whether they accomplished all the responsibility of providing a good & experienced teacher who themselves can provide better future to this country & world in form of their student.
When a Student moves in the world he is identified by the name of an Institution rather than his own name thus the dignity of an organization is on the shoulders of student of an institute. The SGVU is determined to provide a better future to this world with the weapons of Honesty, Discipline, Knowledge and Values of Truth. The SGVU had tried that each and every student who has been a part of this Institute be have greater values and asset to this country.
At this moment SGVU needs a promise from all the students to increase the dignity of their institute by capturing the world like the Stars in the sky and made us proud to give such twinkling stars to the world.
