The Indian Express Group conducted a survey on the “Universities-established after year 2000”. A comprehensive study on 100 Universities were done wherein the evaluation was on various parameters viz placements, Infrastructure, Human Recourse, International relations & Industry Interface. It is a matter of great honour & pride to share this moment of joy & to state that Gyan Vihar University was ranked among the top 3 Universities of the country & was Rated A++ in the Over all evaluation. Among the various parameters in placement Gyan Vihar scored the highest whereas in infrastructure we were the 2nd best.
World Environment Day
A tree plantation event was organized on world environment day. On this occasion approximately 100 trees were planted in the University premises. The event was co-hosted by R.A.K.S.H.A. an NGO fighting for animal rights and welfare in Jaipur since last6 years.
The staff, students and local citizens, who were present in the university actively, participated with full enthusiasm on the occasion by planting the trees. Sh. Sunil Sharma (Chancellor, Suresh Gyan Vihar University) our chief guest and Dr. Sudhanshu (Vice- Chancellor) planted the first tree Under Project Go Green Revolution. Also on the auspicious day Sh. Sunil Sharma promised R.A.K.S..H.A. to make Suresh Gyan Vihar University as the greenest university campus in India .
Why the citizens involvement? We say “Since this would develop and generate a special bond between the citizens and its trees, mother nature, conservation etc. Mass movements require the support of citizens.”
Why plant trees? The importance of plantation was also shared with the people who planted the tree, like trees control air and noise pollution, prevent soil erosion, help water harvesting, provide food, clothing, shelter, shade, home for many living creatures and more importantly the only rock solid solution to curb global warming in the quickest way. The Team planted fruit bearing trees like guava, Peepal, Jamun, Anar, Mango, Sitaphal, Chikoo, Imli, Shahtoot etc to improve the habitat of birds around and develop Suresh Gyan Vihar University as a good birding place.
About After Care? Team volunteers and Suresh Gyan Vihar University Staff would be keeping a strict check on the growth of the trees planted and have already deputed volunteers to visit the park on Sundays and twice a week for weathering and watering check up.
Such causes require more and more awareness so publishing it also helps in conservation. Lets unite to Combat climate change……lets make a difference.

Ist National Conference on Education
1st National conference on exploring the dynamics of Education held on 5th and 6th June 2009 at Gyan Vihar Universe, Mahal, Jagatpura, Jaipur. Hon’ble Chancellor Sunil Sharma inaugurated the conference on 5th June. Dr. Sudhanshu Hon’ble Vice Chancellor stressed on need of Indian value system and western technology aspect of the west, so our education system may be strong and up to date to meet the new challenge of the world. Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor Major General B.K. Verma was of the opinion that Gyan Vihar School of Education is committed to provide the quantitative education to the strengths of B.Ed and M.Ed.
Worthy Dean Education Group. Cap. R.C.M.Rai wellcomed the guests and participants Principal Radha Rani Saxena expressed her views about the conference. Dr. Deo Raj wiz ret. Principal Jalender (Punjab) interacted with the audience and delivered a motivational lecturer Prof. B.K. Rath from Regional College, Ajmer expressed has views on teacher education and use of modern technology, Dr. A.K. Pandey, Principal, Gyan Vihar School, Malviya Nagar presented to a comparative educational view on education.
